What is involved in treatment?

During treatment hundreds of tiny pixels or dots of laser energy penetrate the skin. It creates an ablative and thermal effect at the pixel area creating hundreds of micro-injury sites without disturbing the surrounding skin. These injured areas then begin the process of healing, producing more collagen which tightens the skin and improves its texture. You will need 5-6 treatments for each area.

Is the Fractional Laser safe?

Until now, only two varieties of laser treatment have been available for cosmetic enhancement – the Ablative Laser and Non-Ablative Laser. The Ablative Laser, which literally means to vaporize at a very high temperature, is very effective at destroying unwanted tissue but has significant side-effects and requires a lengthy healing period. The Non-Ablative Laser has not the same side-effects, however, it involves numerous treatments over many months to achieve maximum results.

• For acne scars:
  Acne scars are the result of skin trauma acquired by previous acne lesions. Fractional laser helps to diminished acne scars by regenerating tissue, damaged, due to the acne condition. Skin infrastructure is increased around these previously damaged cells resulting in a more volumized, smoother, less pitted and healthier skin.
• For Deep pigmentation:
  Fractional Laser diminishes deeper lying pigmentation by breaking down older previously damaged cells and remodeling the skin's infrastructure. This gradual building of cellular scaffolding in the deeper layers helps to strengthened and promote a more clear and healthy skin texture and colour.
• For fine lines and wrinkles:
  Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth are the result of the loss of collagen and the damage to the skin's vital scaffolding support system. Fractional laser helps to remodel the skin's infrastructure. This gradual rebuilding of new cellular scaffolding in the deeper layers helps to strengthened and promote a more volumized, healthy skin, softening fine lines and wrinkles.

Is treatment painful?

Most clients require no anaesthetic during treatment and can return to work immediately after treatment. Healing occurs so quickly that there is very little downtime for clients.
